Version 3.2.0 Patch Notes

Version 3.2.0 Patch Notes

Maintenance to update the game will start at approx. 11:00 p.m. (PT) on Dec. 22, 2024.
This game will be updated to Ver.3.2.0 Once the update is released, the app will need to be updated in order to play. Please check that you have a stable network connection before updating the app. (Wi-Fi recommended)

■Maintenance/Update Schedule

Maintenance
11:00 p.m., Dec. 22, 2024 (PT) - Around 1:30 a.m., Dec. 23, 2024 (PT)

■Please note

The game cannot be played during maintenance.
If the maintenance begins while you are playing a show, the results of that show may be lost.
The maintenance schedule is subject to change without notice.

Ver.3.2.0 update details are as follows.

■Changes to Solo Shows and Challenge Shows

After the update, you will be able to play Solo Shows and Challenge Shows to completion even if your Life drops to zero. As this makes the continue feature obsolete, we are adjusting the achievement "Never Give Up!" and other missions to reflect this.

If you complete a show with zero Life, the screen will display "Show Finished" instead of "Show Clear".

While you will still earn rewards for score and combos, it will not count as having cleared the song.

Furthermore, as in Co-op Shows, your score will increase less after your Life reaches zero, and Life Recovery skills will have no effect.

■Mission Changes

The wording of the following missions will change from "clearing" a show to "playing"/"finishing" a show.

Never Give Up!

Before: "Clear a show using five or more continues."

After: "Finish a Solo Show or Challenge Show with zero Life 5 times."

Beginner's Debut Missions

Before: "Clear a Challenge Show."

After: "Play a Challenge Show."

Changes to the text only. The wording of the following missions will change from "playing"/"doing" a show to "clearing" a show.

• 1st Year Senior High Student: Play 100 shows with five (former) 1st year students.

• 2nd Year Senior High Student: Play 100 shows with five (former) 2nd year students.

• 3rd Year Senior High Student: Play 100 shows with five 3rd year students.

• Miya Girls' Academy Student: Play 100 shows with five characters from Miyamasuzaka Girls Academy.

• Kamiyama Student: Play 100 shows with five characters from Kamiyama High School.

• Boy Band: Play 100 shows with only Tsukasa, Akito, Toya, Rui, Len, and KAITO.

• Perform as Leader: Do <number> shows with <character> as the Leader.

■Gift following mission change

If you meet the eligibility criteria below and have previously spent Crystals on the "Never Give Up!" achievement, you will receive the same number of Crystals as a gift.

Eligibility Criteria: Unlocked or made any progress on the former "Never Give Up!" achievement ("Clear a show using five or more continues") on ver.3.1.5 or earlier.

Details: Free Crystals x10 for each level of progress toward the achievement, up to x50 (e.g., 2/5 continues → Free Crystals x20). Claim the gift from your Gift Box following this update.

Skill Levels Display During Activation

Skill levels have not been displayed during skill activation since the ver.3.0.0 update, but they will be displayed following this update. We are also making adjustments to the designs and positioning of cut-in effects to improve their visibility.

Show Results Screen Quality-of-Life Changes

Following some user experience issues after the ver.3.0.0 interface redesign, such as with button touch targets and skipping through screens, we are making the following improvements:

• Ability to tap on the final results screen to move ahead

• Ability to skip "Rank Up" and similar text displays by tapping

• Larger touch targets for friend request and profile buttons

Revised Song Difficulty Levels

There are now over 350 songs in the game, and the new Append difficulty and trace notes, introduced in ver.3.0.0, are now relatively well-established. With these developments in mind, we have revised levels for songs set to Master difficulty across the board. The affected songs and their new levels are listed below.

Note: This change only affects how songs are described. It does not affect the rhythm game itself in any way.
